Jennifer goes to Senior Prom.....

She's lovely in purple for the prom night tonight. :) He looks great in a tux.

This is the dress made form the 1940's vintage Vogue pattern we got last fall.

Deep purple with a teal sash to the floor. She did her own hair and toes, I made the jewelry and the gown and the garter. She had her makeup done at the Dior counter by our friend JoAnn and she had her nails done at Kim's Salon. Her date is Bryan E.

The lovely lilac backdrop is an 'old fashioned' deep purple lilac from my husband's grandmother Esther Aho before she moved to a nursing home. She is now passed on. Lovely setting for a lovely couple.

She looked fantastic. The dress really came out great, it brought back happy memories for me because 50 years ago my Mom made my prom dress so I know she will always remember this dress because it was made with Love....
