Mary Engelbreit Garden album

View this slide show of the gift album I just made for my mom (Happy 72nd birthday, Mom!)

When I say use your stash you can be sure that I am also doing the same. I used Mary Engelbreit album, papers and accents from the mid-1990's!!! Yes I admit it, these supplies are about 16 years old! Where did that time fly to? Many are swap pieces from dear friends who were in my Mary E embellishment and page swaps back then. I am so glad to finally use them and I know my mom will enjoy this gift album. Mom loves to garden and Mary E stuff is the perfect compliment for her photos.

I also used Mary E calendar pages from 4 assorted yearly 12x12 ME calendars for the "title/theme/main accent" aspect of several of the layout sets. This sped up the process so that I could make this entire 36 page album in less than 7 hours today. Yes today. I am putting it in the mail to Mom tomorrow. :D

Danette, Thank you! It's a blank gift album for her to put her gardening photos into. She loves to garden.

What a wonderful gift for your mom. You are a wonderful daughter for doing this for your mom. And the idea of using calendar pages is out of this world. I've been tossing (decluttering) them.
