Honeymoon in Greece album
Click on any photo to enlarge it. I add a lot of inking and dimensional items to my pages.
Greece (title Page) Using what I have. The G in Greece is a blend of two Thicker letters, hence the ribbon bow to cover the joint
On the Way Over... Torn and inked frames on each page and layered and inked leftover silk flowers from her wedding hair barrettes that she made herself. Old dictionary word tear-outs with words Greece, Travel, Vacation are inked and used as accents.
Athens: the big door opens to a journaling box and the little window at bottom opens to a quote. Upper right window has a photo behind the shutters out to the marvelous view.
Acropolis: featuring their Acropolis tickets as memorabilia and stickle dimension on the title letters.
The Agora: ahhh, Grungeboard. And lots of leftover paper scraps as my mats in this whole album.
Island of Santorini: Using a premade GREECE paper here and some mats. This was probably my fastest and flattest page with only the 3-D boat for a dimensional accent.
At the Beach: back to lumpy bumpy, torn and inked. I purposely used some old lettering and rub ons. When it fits the page and I can throw away the package because I used it up, I am happy!
Wine Tastings: do you recognize this little bird? They are leftover from the wedding invitations, thank yous, and so on! More grungeboard. Lots of little fun rustic pieces.
Great Foods: I don't use stickers much but I do like Jolees Boutique because it is usually 3-D. Could not resist using these food and wine accents in the lower right. Wedding ribbon at top of page for a bow border.
From my daughter's photos into an album of her honeymoon.
Now in the interest of honesty there are also about 5 slip in sleeve type pages interspersed along with these more elaborate pages. The slip in sleeves are from We R Memory Keepers and hold 6 photos to a side (or 12 total) and those are inserted chronologically along with these fancier ones. LOVE IT. I am not done with this album. I am about 2/3 of the way done. Still have to do some boat cruise and Mykkonos Island, ruins, and more Athens. :)
